Interview with Mr. Liyan Feng by Guangdong Vision TV
Body Reading Tea focuses on promoting health and self-cultivation. When drinking tea, one must pay attention to the tea “qi”, and forget about the pre-conceived notion of colour, aroma and taste. One should use the feeling to perceive the flow and circulation of tea qi in the body.
Drinking cups after cups of hot tea, gradually the dantian began to warm up. Taking a deep breath from the dantian, placing the tongue on the palate, connecting the two meridians of Ren and Du, and slowly circulating the qi around the crown. Here you can experience the wonderful feeling of totally relaxed body and clarity of mind.
Using tea qi to attain calmness, Body Reading Tea is a brand-new concept of health. It also reveals the essence of life. In the selfless state, soul consciousness is manifested. The basic character of humanity is the true essence of reading tea.
Inner experience of human beings cannot be described in words. If you have not experienced it yourself, you will not really understand it. No matter how advanced the science is, there is no way to directly transmit experience, or even describe it accurately. That’s why we say that there is a Tao in tea, it quietens the heart; there is a Tao in tea, it emphasize on understanding.
“The universe in tea is big, and the beauty in the pot lasting.” Using the body (feeling) to read tea, everyone will have their own experience. It is fate to bring us to drink tea together, and one needs to only to focus on his own feelings. There is no need to be polite.
The fortunes of life are like tea leaves brewed in boiling water. After several ups and downs, they stopped and finally settled at the bottom of the calm pot, as if they fell into the deepest part of the soul.
The wonderful method of reading tea with the body is joy to the world, which travels in, above and below the universe, sometimes unfolding and sometimes ending. Tea inherits the meaning of Zen and Zen is found in tea. You can appreciate the essence of union of Zen and tea.
